This allows us to keep the boat weight light.

The otters are most active at dawn, between 6:00 and 9:00 AM.

The Puerto Maldonado 3D/2N Posada Amazonas Lodge tour has a low to moderate difficulty level, with short, easy walks on rainforest trails (typically 1-2 hours per excursion) and minimal physical demand. No advanced fitness is required, but you should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and acclimating to the warm, humid climate of the Amazon (average temperatures around 25-30°C/77-86°F). It’s also helpful to be prepared for the altitude change if traveling from Cusco (3,400 meters) to Puerto Maldonado (260 meters). Our team will provide tips for managing heat and humidity, and we can adjust activities if you have health concerns.
The cost of the Puerto Maldonado 3D/2N Posada Amazonas Lodge tour varies by season, room type, and group size, but it typically ranges between $350 and $500 USD per person for international tourists, and between 1,200 and 1,800 soles per person for Peruvian nationals, with potential discounts for students or children. This price includes transportation, lodging, meals, and guided activities, but excludes flights to Puerto Maldonado, the Boleto Turístico (if applicable), and personal expenses.
