Itinerary
Upon arrival in Cusco, we will board a bus that will take us to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way, we will visit the Cristo Blanco viewpoint, offering one of the best views of Cusco city. After taking some photos, we will proceed to the great archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, an Inca complex famous for its impressive stone walls. Next, we will visit Qenqo, another archaeological site within the Sacsayhuaman complex.
After exploring these Inca sites, we will board the bus to head towards Pisaq, an ancient Inca city where we will admire the incredible engineering and architecture of our ancestors. We will then descend to the colonial town of Pisaq to visit its famous artisan market, where you will have time to buy souvenirs. Finally, we will continue our journey to Urubamba, known as the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will visit the “living Inca city” of Ollantaytambo and its impressive archaeological complex. Following the tour, you will have free time to enjoy lunch before heading to Ollantaytambo train station. Here, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), where we will spend the night in preparation for our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

After an early breakfast, we will board the bus to Machu Picchu, where we will enjoy a guided tour of this incredible wonder for approximately 2 hours. Afterward, we will take the return bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a minibus transfer to Cusco, where you will be taken to your hotel.

On this day, we will explore the historic city of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. We will visit Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, followed by a tour of Cusco Cathedral, home to the revered Lord of Earthquakes, the famous Last Supper painting, and many examples of Cusco-style artwork. Next, we will stroll through the San Blas neighborhood and see the famous 12-Angle Stone. Our walking tour will conclude at Cusco’s main square, where you will have free time to explore the surrounding areas.
Finally, we will provide transfer service to the airport according to your flight schedule.

- This journey involves extensive walking to visit the sites, and if you choose to trek the Inca Trail or the Quarry Trail, you will face strenuous hikes. We recommend this trip for those with a good level of fitness. It is important to bring comfortable footwear suitable for hiking. - For those trekking the Inca Trail or the Quarry Trail, accommodation will be in campsites with basic facilities. Undoubtedly, this experience is not just about reaching the final destination (Machu Picchu) but about the incredible journey itself.
- According to Machu Picchu’s visiting regulations, all visitors must follow a pre-determined route within the site in a single direction. Once the guided tour begins, exiting and re-entering the site is not permitted. After the guided visit concludes, visitors must leave the site, and personal exploration of Machu Picchu is not allowed. Please refer to the Itinerary for more details.
- Travelers who choose different ways to reach Machu Picchu (Inca Trail, Quarry Trail, or Train) will not follow the same routes within the site. This means that you may not be able to take photos together overlooking Machu Picchu, whether traveling on the same booking or separate bookings.
