The Choquequirao tour has a high difficulty level, with daily hikes that can last between 6 and 8 hours, including steep terrain, rocky trails, and altitudes of up to 3,050 meters at the ruins. Excellent physical condition, previous trekking experience, and acclimatization to Cusco’s altitude (3,400 meters) are required. We recommend backpacking training before the tour, and our team will give you advice on how to adapt. If you have concerns about your health, please consult with us to customize your experience.
The cost of the Choquequirao tour varies by season and group, but generally ranges from $400 to $600 USD per person for international tourists, and from 1,300 to 2,000 Peruvian soles for nationals, with possible discounts for students or minors.
