Itinerary
DAY 01: FLIGHT LIMA-CUSCO – CITY TOUR
Meals Included:
On this day we will have a transfer provided for us from our hotel to the airport where we will board our flight to the city of Cusco. This flight will last approximately one hour.
In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to visit the many attractions that Cusco has to offer such as the Qoricancha temple and the archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay, all of which will be explained by an official tour guide. We will then head back down into Cusco to rest. This evening the guide will provide the information needed about the upcoming Inca Trail hike.
DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY (PISAQ-OLLANTAYTAMBO)

Today we begin our tour early heading North-East of the city of Cusco. Along the way we will stop at some lookouts in order to take in the beauty of the inter-Andean valleys. We will also be able to see the 04 different South American camelids along the way (llamas, alpacas, huanacos and vicuñas) as well as witness the making of alpaca wool into beautiful weavings with intricate designs.
We will then head towards Pisac where we will ascend, via minibus, up the mountain of the same name where we will find the archeological complex of this great Inca city. We will then descend back down to the town of Pisac which is located on the shores of the Urubamba River and is where we will visit the traditional artisanal market. Here we can find handicrafts as well as visit local silver jewelers to see how they transform this spectacular metal into delicate jewelry.
After this we will head towards Urubamba where we will stop for lunch. (Meal not included in price.)
In the afternoon we will visit the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo where we will find different constructions dedicated to the Inca deities and from there head to our hotel for the night. We will have free time to explore the town of Ollantaytambo where you can walk on Inca streets and see the original walls and water channels of the Incas.
DAY 03 TO DAY 06: INCA TRAIL 4D/3N INCA TRAIL DAY 01: PISCACUCHO (KM-82) – WAYLLABAMBA COMMUNITY

On the first day of our trek we will hike a total of 12kms. We will begin with breakfast in our hotel and at 8:00AM our transportation service will pick us up to take us to the starting point of the Inca Trail: KM-82 or Piscacucho. After having enough time to repack and adjust we will begin our adventure visiting some small villages, such as MISKAY, in order to get to our first archeological site of LLACTAPATA where we will stop to receive the explanation of the site. Following this we head towards our lunch spot. In the afternoon we will walk until arriving at our first campsite called WAYLLABAMBA (3000 m.)
INCA TRAIL DAY 02: WAYLLABAMBA – PACAMAYU

The morning of our second day on the Inca Trail we will wake up very early to hike as this will be our hardest day where we will cover a distance of 9kms. Throughout the day we will be able to enjoy the most incredible views and different ecosystems. Along the way, after nearly 5 hours of ascent, we will arrive to the highest point on this trek: the WARMIHUAÑUSKA Pass (or translated to English “Dead Woman’s Pass”) at 4200m. Once here we will descend to our second campsite called PACAMAYU at 3600m.
INCA TRAIL DAY 03: PACAMAYU – WIÑAYWAYNA
Meals Included: 01 Breakfast, 01 Lunch, and 01 Dinner
This is the longest day of our Inca Trail Trek as we will cover 14kms. We will have the opportunity to walk over a completely original Inca trail as well as take in the incredible view of the cloud forrest and its distinct microclimates. We will also visit Inca archeological sites such as RUNKURAKAY, SAYACMARK, PHUYUPATAMARCA and WIÑAYWAYNA where we will stay the night at the altitude of 2750m.
INCA TRAIL DAY 04: WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

On this day we will wake up very early (4:00AM) in order to walk 6kms (or 2 hours approximately) to arrive at the Sun Gate or INTIPUNKU where we will be able to look upon one of the most awe-inspiring places in the world: MACHUPICCHU. Machu Picchu has been considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World since 2007 and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983.
Here we will receive a tour of the Inca citadel that will last approximately 2 hours where we will explore all of the different, important places throughout the site and after which we will take the retun bus towards Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). Here we will take the train back to the city of Cusco.
DAY 07: FREE DAY

After 4 days of trekking we will have a rejuvenating rest in the city of Cusco where we can explore its streets, visit the museums or taste one of Cusco’s most traditional dishes, all of which we can recommend places to visit as an activity to partake in on your own.
DAY 08: CUSCO – RETURN TO LIMA
Meals Included: 01 Breakfast
We will take you from your hotel to the airport in order to board your plane to head back to the city of Lima where you can then take your flight back home. This day does not include hotel stay.
