MYSTERIOUS NAZCA
Travel in private transportation across the arid Peruvian coast and delight in the views of coastal birds and Humboldt penguins in the Paracas National Reserve along the journey. Admire America’s beautiful oasis, HUACACHINA, where you can ride sand dune buggies over the fine sand and then fly over the famous, stylized Nazca Lines such as the hummingbird, spider and monkey.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: LIMA – NAZCA
We will depart from Lima heading South. Early on our journey we will be able to note the arid landscapes along the Peruvian coastline. After 3 ½ hours journey we will make our first stop to visit the Ballestas Islands. Here we will see sea lions, guano birds such as the guanay, pelicans, and Humboldt penguins, the only penguins found on Peruvian territory.
After visiting the Ballestas Islands we will head by car to the Pisco Airport where we will take our flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines. From up above we will be able to see the stylized figures of animals such as the monkey, whale, condor, spider, hummingbird and more.
When our flight has ended we will then return to the Pisco Airport and back to our hotel for check-in.
DAY 02: PARACAS – HUACACHINA – LIMA
01 Breakfast
On our second day we will enjoy breakfast in our hotel before continuing our journey South in minivan towards the local vineyards and distileries. Here we will learn about the Pisco-making process; Pisco is a spirit made from distilled grapes and the main ingredient in the famous Pisco Sour, Peru’s national drink. After our visit we will arrive to the HUACACHINA oasis where we will ride sand dune buggies and practice sandboarding.
Finishing our excursion we will take time to eat lunch and then return to our hotel in Lima (4 hours) in order to rest.
